In the second quarter of 2021, the top 5 consumer finance apps in Denmark exhibited interesting trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app performed, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Lunar saw its weekly downloads fluctuate throughout Q2. Starting with 2.3K downloads in late March, the app experienced a notable increase, peaking at 6.7K in the first week of May. By the end of June, weekly downloads stabilized around 4K. Active users for Lunar displayed a steady increase, starting with 32.8K in late March and reaching 39.9K by the end of June.

Sydbanks Mobilbank Privat, released in mid-June, had an impressive debut. Weekly downloads surged from 6.6K in its launch week to a peak of 32.7K in the following week, before settling at around 19.7K by the end of June.

Mobilbank DK – Danske Bank showed consistent performance. Weekly downloads hovered between 2.3K and 3.7K throughout the quarter. Active user numbers remained fairly stable, starting at 67.2K in late March and ending at 63.9K in late June.

Nordea Mobile - Denmark experienced moderate fluctuations in downloads, ranging from 2K to 3K weekly. Active users also showed minor variations, maintaining a steady range between 49.8K and 53.1K over the quarter.

Jyske Bank had relatively lower download numbers compared to its peers, with weekly downloads varying from around 1K to 1.7K.
